Though I am not a 'Church Christian' I accept that Jesus Christos was a divine person.

I make a fundamental difference though between the Christ of the Bible and the Christos of the Gnostic Gospels.

The Christ of the Church is a mythic personality created by the Emperor Constantine at the Council of Nicea and he is a mythic construct based on a fusion of pagan myths, pagan sun worship and various cults such as Mithraism in the Roman Empire at the time of the formation of the Church and the Bible.


We have all seen the excellent documentary Zeitgeist which clearly shows that the Christ of the Bible is a mythic construct designed to suit the agenda of the Roman Empire and the Roman Emperor Constantine by 'fusing' as many cultic myths as possible at that time into a new form of state based religion in order to unify those different cultic groups around the new state based religion of Christianity / Constantinism ;

The real Christos was not a 'christian'.

Christianity is a product of the Emperor Constantine not Christ.

In effect Christianity should be renamed ' Constantinism'.

Here is the fundamental truth for all Christians to ponder upon and understand ' CHRIST DID NOT WRITE THE BIBLE '.

That one fundamental truth puts the Bible and the Churches in their true context.

The Christos was a divine being. This is simple to establish as for one person to have had such an impact on the people of his time, and all time since, shows his presence was in some way divine.

But the Churches that have built in his name are the very anti-thesis of the spiritual teachings of Christos himself.

What I despise is the Marxist pseudo-Church of England, and all such religious hierarchies, that say they speak in Christs name. The Church of England does not speak in the name of Jesus Christos, they speak in the name of the secular Church erected in his name and in the name of the Bible that was put together to empower the Roman Empire and its emperor Constantine.

The Churches worship Constantine and the power of Rome not Christos.

Christ himself foretold that such Churches would arise after his death and that they would use his name to build their materialist powerbases on earth in order to lead souls from the true Gnosis and to keep man in perpetual ignorance and slavery to the Church and its leadership itself.

The Bible is not the word of God, the Bible ( in its hundreds of different and differently edited forms ) is a political construct, put together by officials of the Roman Empire working for the Roman Emperor Constantine.

The Bible is a political book whose creation was based on unifying the Christian movement and the Roman Emperor under the authority of the Emperor and his 'official' church.

The Gnostic Gospels were destroyed by the Roman Church so as to ensure that only one church with one hierarchy worked for one emperor.

Therefore to say the Bible represents the totality of the teaching of Christ is like saying the Daily Mail is the only newspaper that tells the truth as the Daily Mail managed to destroy all the other newspapers that existed and also managed to kill all its journalists and editors and establish itself in the eyes of a terrified populace as the one newspaper that tells the truth (even if that was imposed at the point of a sword).

Any 'truth' that requires the terrorisation of those that hold a dissenting viewpoint, that burns books that disagree with its orthodoxies, that imprisons those who disagree with its position as a truth and that incites people to attack or villify those that deny the established 'truth' is not the truth.

Only lies need terror to enforce their power.

In fact the commentaries of the Gnostic Gospels were not just surpressed by the early Roman Church, the followers of the Gnostic Christos were persecuted and killed by the Church and anyone who dared challenge the secular power of the Church were murdered by the Church.

To say that the Church of England speaks in the name of Christ is tantamount to being an apologist for murder.

This also applies to all religions from Catholicism to Islam.

Each of these 'religions' have no spiritual basis for their 'secular power' in our societies as none of them as they manifested today are purely products of the spirit. They have become political ideologies cloaked in the rhetoric of religion.

Spirit stands in opposition to the secular, and any attempt to impose a spiritual vision via the use of secular power is direct evidence that those seeking to do so are in fact the enemies of the spirit.

The spirit seeks its fruition in a reunion with god, and any religious authority that seeks to join the secular with the spirit on earth is guilty of the greatest lies and blasphemies.

The journey that the individual takes toward the spirit is a solitary journey of the soul.

The source and salvation of the spirit is not to be found by being obedient to a book, a priest, an imam, a rabbi, a Church or a religion.

Any religion that says, ' You must obey what we say as only we speak in the name of God and if you disobey what we tell you to do then you will go to hell ' is in fact an enemy of the spirit.

The spirit is of god and god welcomes all those who have made the journey to the source of the spirit itself.

In the words of the Gnostic Gospel of Phillip: "Become not a Christian, but a Christ!"

As Christ himself said in the Gnostic gospels The Apocalypse of Peter about the people who were going about saying that they were 'Christians' and that they had the authority to speak in the name of Jesus Christos :


The Saviour said "I have told you that these people are blind and deaf. Now then, listen to the things which they are telling you in a mystery, and guard them. Do not tell them to the sons of this age. For they shall blaspheme you in these ages since they are ignorant of you, but they will praise you in knowledge."

"For many will accept our teaching in the beginning….And they (will) praise the men of propagation of falsehood, those who will come after you. And they will cleave to the name of a dead man, thinking that they will become pure. But they will become greatly defiled and they will fall into a name of error, and into the hand of an evil, cunning man and a manifold dogma, and they will be ruled without law."

"And there shall be others of those who are outside our number who name themselves bishop and also deacons, as if they have received their authority from God. They bend themselves under the judgment of the leaders. Those people are waterless channels."

The message of Jesus Christos was that in order to serve the spirit one had to be reborn as a Christ, in other words that one must experience an internal spiritual awakening that therefore put ones own awakened spirit and soul on a par with Christ, for at the moment of that spiritual awakening the soul attains the same level of spirit as Christ did.

The religions though all say that ' you must obey what we say and all our laws otherwise you will go to hell and be damned'.

The difference between the two is vast - Christos says ' You have no need of a Church when you become a Christ' whilst the Church says ' There is no path to Christ except through the Church'.


When you become obedient to a church or a holy book as the source of the path to the spirit, then you are damned. No book or Church can lead the spirit to god. Only the individual soul can achieve union with god via its own journey.

Anyone who wears the robes of authority and says ' you must obey me as I wear these robes of power' is an enemy of the spirit.


Yet this spiritual knowledge of the Gnosis that was recorded at the time of Christ by the various Gnostic groups has been eradicated throughout history by the Churches. It was only the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls that revealed this lost knowledge.

This re-discovery of this lost knowledge was in fact The Second Coming Of Christ.

The knowledge in the amphora dug up in the desert was the resurrection of Christos, in that Christos was reborn again in our time and his wisdom as stated in the Gnostic scrolls became a flood of spiritual knowledge able to replenish individual human souls and lead them once more towards Gnosis.

The Dead Sea Scrolls allowed the rebirth of the Gnosis in our time, which in turn allows individuals to know Christos for themselve and become Christos.

Once one is awakened by the Gnosis then one becomes Christ and therefore each awakened Gnostic is in fact a reborn Christ and each are the embodimdent of The Second Coming itself.

There will not be just one Christ, but millions of Christos.

The waterless channels of the Churches were revealed by the Dead Sea Scrolls as what they were, whilst the scrolls themselves revealed to the world the true message of Christos - which is that there is an alternative path to the Kingdom of Heaven via the Gnosis. One does not have to travel to a Church, a synagogue or a mosque or be obedient to a book to find God, for God is within us all and awaiting for us take the first steps towards reunion with his spirit via our questing souls.

The fundamentalist Christians that think that Christ himself will return in physical form have misunderstood entirely the meaning of the Second Coming.

What is The Second Coming is the return of the Gnosis - the knowledge to allow individuals to attain the spiritual Gnosis for themselves and become a Christos.

But this knowledge is a direct challenge to the authority and power of the Churches for they are secular powers dependent upon money to survive - and therefore they keep peddling the myth that the Second Coming is a physical return of Christ.

The Churches are therefore the Anti-Christ themselves.

The Anti-Christ is not some Hollywood movie beast or some diabolical CGI effect in a film - the Anti-Christ are the Churches that keep their followers in delusion and lies for their own benefit, power and glory.

The true Anti-Christ wears the robes of the Church and speaks in the name of the Churches.

All those who say ' you must obey our laws, our holy book and our religion alone' are the enemies of the spirit. The spirit is the father of all and welcomes us all back into its arms. None are denied by the spirit just because of earthly doctrine or dogma. That is the greatest blasphemy of all, that the god who gave us sould would deny us welcome just because we did not adhere to the commandments of a book, a pope, an imam or a rabbi.

This is how the Anti-Christ has become able to speak in the name of Christ - when the Churches are in fact 'waterless channels'.

As for Christos - Christos challenged the religious authority of the Jewish establishment and the secular power of the Roman Empire.

Christ surrounded himself radicals who fought against the Roman Empire - people who would be called 'Nationalist Terrorists' today such as Simon The Zealot.

Christ did not remove the difference between Greek, Roman and Jew - he saw them all as they were and each as equal in error in relation to their spiritual beliefs.

Christ came not to remove the differences between nations, peoples, religions and races.

Christos came to save individual souls, not build Churches.

In fact in his classic phrase ' render unto Ceaser' what Christos was saying is that we are each of us born into a secular, material and organic situation such as into a nation or a race, and that we should be aware of that reality and give what is right and due to that nation or race. But our souls belong to god.

Christ is saying that the soul of the Gnostic Christos, an enlightened one, belongs solely to God whilst the physical container of the soul, the body, has earthly duties that it owes to the people and nation that it is born into. In other words that we each have a duty to each other in the context of who we are and the situtation we are born into, but that the soul belongs to god.

This does not mean Christ came to sweep away the difference nations and races and tribes - Christ saw that nations, races and tribes were the fundamental basis of human life and that we owe a duty to each of those existing organic realities. But at the same time the aim of the individual is to seek Gnosis for themselves and thereby fulfil their duty and destiny to god.

Christ was not some lackey of the secular and religious authority of his time.

He surrounded himself with outcasts not lickspittles of the establishment.

For the Church of England to say any political organisation cannot be a member of the Church is in fact to confirm the reality of its own apostasy from the message of Christos.

Note that the Church of England has never banished Communists from its ranks, even during the great purges of Stalin or when millions were being killed by Mao in China.

Churches, Holy Books,, religious leaders, religions, religious authorities and religious dogma do not seek to save souls, they seek to enslave them.

The Second Coming is already here, but we are so lost in delusion that we cannot see the presence of Christos is not as a prince of the Church but that he awaits within us all.

LABOUR’S shocking record of soft justice was exposed last night when it emerged that 229 perverts guilty of sickening sexual offences against children have been let off with cautions since 2004.


Official figures showed that more than half of offenders escape going to prison.

Almost a third of those who rape, sexually assault or pimp out children under 13 get just a caution.

Another quarter get just a community or a suspended sentence.

The revelation will worry parents and last night sparked fury from the Opposition and child protection groups.

Shadow Justice Secretary Dominic Grieve said: “Ministers regularly make loud announcements about cracking down on paedophiles.

“Yet these figures show that, with 30 per cent getting off with a slap on the wrist, law enforcement is at its most lax in protecting the most vulnerable.” Jo Duncombe, a former senior probation officer who now attempts to treat some of Britain’s worst sex offenders, said that the revelation was appalling.

She said: “If someone thinks they are going to get a caution, they are more likely to offend. And if they are only cautioned, they will only get very loose supervision.”

Ms Duncombe blamed Ministers for giving courts discretion not to send child abusers to jail automatically when they passed the Sexual Offences Act in 2003.

She also blamed judges for choosing soft sentences.

Offences for which only cautions were issued include rape of a child under 13, sexual assault of a child under 13, causing or inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity, sexual activity with a child under 13, sexual activity with a child family member under 13 and controlling a child prostitute under 13 or a child under 13 involved in pornography.

Queuing for food

A HUMAN river of despair and hunger flowed to the gates of the Capuchin Friary.

In scenes reminiscent of a failed state, more than 700 people queued from early morning amid fears they would miss the free food parcels to be distributed — and they were right to worry as demand overwhelmed the friars and basic items like bread, tea, sugar and canned foods all ran out.

The speed and brutality with which the economic crisis is searing through Irish society was clear from the faces of young people and parents amidst the hundreds of people snaking along Dublin’s Church Street, their grim reality mocked by the unseasonal sunshine.

Brother Kevin Crowley expressed deep sadness at the desperation unfolding before him, but, with the numbers of those in need doubling so quickly, the day centre could no longer cope with demand.

The friary is a lifeline for people who would once have looked upon it only as a destination for the homeless and truly destitute.

Struggling families, youngsters and ex-professionals reeling from the suddenness of their fall from financial security made up a large swathe of the crowd, Br Crowley said. "I was talking to one young man who felt terrible he had to come here for food, but he was hungry and had no choice."

This is not an isolated sight, merely a snapshot of the human cost of a crisis which is being repeated across Ireland.

Taoiseach Brian Cowen has warned of five more years of pain, with living standards diving by 10% and, for the first time in the history of the state, the next generation doing worse than the present one. That pain is already hurting hard as the Live Register reached a grim new all-time high of 372,800 people in March.

Mr Cowen mumbled his way through the latest figures in the Dáil, as if he could not bear to raise his voice to make it audible. And who would want to preside over such a shameful national waste of lives and talent?

More than 80,000 people have swelled the dole queues in just three months — a 90% rise in one year — and Mr Cowen knows it’s only going to get worse as he admits the register will top 450,000 by year’s end. If he is willing publicly to acknowledge that, then there must be fear the reality could be much worse. Mr Cowen must see restricted cabinet papers warning of the social consequences of 500,000 or even 600,000 on the dole — it’s going to be a long, cold, bitter recession.

There was no comfort to be drawn from the fact that the increase in those joining the welfare rolls had slowed from 1,000 a day to 500 a day during March. Gallows humour would suggest the drop is merely due to the fact the country now feels like it is simply running out of any jobs left to cut.

Br Crowley wonders how he will feed the masses that flood into the day centre — those seeking free meals have doubled to 430 a day — on donations of e1m a year. Nearly half of that total, e450,000, comes from a government grant, but with welfare payments in the firing line of next week’s crisis budget, as well as everything else, who knows what the future holds?

"It used to be the homeless, but now it’s those who have just lost their jobs, young people and families coming to us — and that’s worrying," Br Crowley added.

The friary ran out of food parcels for the first time yesterday and was forced to leave some people empty-handed. However, that will not stop the tide of misery continuing to sweep along Church Street to its doors.

Sharia Banking Conquers Europe.

All over Europe Islamic banks are establishing branches, Western banks are offering Sharia-compliant financial services, and European governments are trying to outcompete each other in welcoming them. Proponents of banking along the lines of Sharia (Islamic law) claim that the Islamic banking system is “more ethical” than the West’s capitalist system. This is not true. Unfortunately, however, in our age of crashing financial markets, many Westerners – not just the traditional anti-capitalist European left – seem very eager to buy that argument.

Early this month, even the Vatican newspaper Osservatore Romano voiced its approval of Sharia banking. “The ethical principles on which Islamic finance is based may bring banks closer to their clients and to the true spirit which should mark every financial service,” the paper said in a downright stupid and “unethical” article published on March, 4.

The article, entitled “Islamic finance proposals and ideas for the West in crisis” [pdf] suggests that the basic rules of Islamic finance could relieve suffering markets and particularly international financial systems. It says that in the current atmosphere of crisis banks should take Muslims as an example and that the Islamic finance system may pave the way for the establishment of new rules in the Western world.

Islamic or Sharia banks differ from regular banks in two major ways. As commanded in the Koran, the charging of interest is prohibited in all monetary transactions. The other defining feature of Islamic banks is that they are supervised by a board of Islamic scholars and clerics whose job it is to ensure that the banks’ activities comply with Sharia law.

Its proponents argue that Islamic banking is “ethically superior” to the capitalist principles of the “materialistic” West because, as Giovanni Maria Vian, the editor of Osservatore Romano says, Sharia banks take “the human dimension of the economy” into account.

The two dirty secrets of Islamic banking, however, are that, like all banks, Sharia banks do charge interest – they just give it another name – and that the clerics supervising the banks have ties to extremist, even terrorist, groups which work towards the Islamization of Europe and world dominance.

Helena Christofi, an expert on Sharia banking, explains that Islamic banks extend a type of Islamic “credit,” called murabaha, that shifts risk to the borrower in a manner similar to interest.

“An Islamic bank granting murabaha credit to a customer for an automobile, for example, would purchase the automobile for the customer for $15,000 and the customer would owe the bank $20,000 in a year’s time. Similarly, under the ‘diminishing musharaka’ credit, the Islamic version of a mortgage, the bank and the customer purchase the property together. The customer must make monthly payments to the bank and pay a monthly rental fee, both based on the portion of the purchase price the bank still owns. Ironically, the interest this amounts to ranges between one and two percent higher than the interest on a conventional mortgage. Although the resale price of the vehicle and the rent paid on the house are akin to simple interest charges, the banks’ sharia boards legitimate the charges by renaming them ‘commissions’ or ‘profits.’”

The Sharia boards supervising the Islamic banks and Sharia-compliant financial services offered by regular European banks are composed of members of the European Council for Fatwa and Research. This Council is headed by Sheik Yousef Al-Qaradawi, a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood and instigator and financier of terrorism in Europe and the Middle East. Both Al-Qaradawi and the Council have expressed their hope that “Islam will return to Europe as a conqueror.”

With ever larger Muslim populations there is a growing internal demand for an “ethical alternative” to conventional banking for Muslims. A 2006 poll by Lloyds Trustee Savings Bank in Britain found that over 75% of British Muslims want Sharia-compliant banking products, while in 2005 Mufti Abdul Barkatullah, Sharia adviser to Lloyds TSB and an imam at a North London mosque reported that 20% of inquiries into Islamic products at Lloyds TSB came from non-Muslims who have bought the argument that conventional capitalist banking is somehow unethical.

Alun Williams, marketing director of the Islamic Bank of Britain, established in 2004 and one of the first Sharia banks in Europe, told The Guardian (April 2, 2005):

“Our biggest appeal outside the Muslim community will be to those who feel disenfranchised by, and bitter about, mainstream banks. […] Non-Muslims are fascinated by us, the more so because we intend offering […] an ethical dimension.”

That was four years ago. Meanwhile, Islamic banking has boomed all over Europe and interest from non-Muslims has grown in the wake of the financial crisis, which some, such as the Vatican paper, claim is due to the free-market model having “grown too much and badly in the past two decades.”

Sharia principles, however, not only prohibit the collection and payment of interest and investing in companies involved in gambling, alcohol, tobacco, pornography and the production of pork, but also forbid women from opening bank accounts without their husband’s approval. How “ethical” the latter is for the non-Muslims “fascinated” by Sharia banking is unclear. However, Western banks offering Sharia-compliant services to non-Muslims do not seem to insist on barring women. According to Christofi,

“The justification for replacing capitalism with the Islamic model is based on an intentional corruption of Sharia law, but the banks’ clerics don’t seem to mind undermining their theological philosophy, since the ethical image their misrepresentation has created for Islamic banking has managed to spread Islamic ideology to non-Muslims in Britain. According to Al-Qaradawi, Islam’s ideological infiltration into the West will be the vehicle through which it will establish an Islamic government over the entire globe.”

Although Al-Qaradawi and other members of the European Council for Fatwa and Research are connected to Islamist circles, the British government continues to promote the UK as a hub for Islamic banking. Western governments welcome Sharia-compliant banking because of the huge sums this attracts from Muslim immigrants, “ethically”-driven non-Muslims, and investors from Muslim countries.

In December 2008, the French Senate looked at ways to eliminate legal hurdles for Islamic financial services and products in France. French Finance Minister Christine Lagarde announced France’s intention to make Paris “the capital of Islamic finance” and said several Islamic banks would open branches in the French capital in 2009. French sources estimate this area of the financial market is worth from 500 to 600 billion dollars and could grow by an average 11 percent a year.

In July 2007, Wouter Bos, the Dutch Finance Minister (and leader of the Dutch Labour Party), said the Dutch government actively encourages Islamic banking, despite the risk that this acts as a Trojan horse in the Western banking system for groups linked to terrorists.

“In the first place because Islamic banking meets a demand from the Muslims living in the Netherlands. In the second place because we see an opportunity here for the Dutch financial sector. A third reason is that banning Islamic banking from the perspective of fighting terrorism will have a counter-productive effect. Denial of an actual need can lead to money-flows running via alternative channels out of the sight of the government.”

Switzerland, too, wants its share of Sharia banking. Years ago, Swiss banks already opened branches in the Middle East, offering worldwide Sharia-compliant financial products to wealthy Arabs.

In October 2006, the Swiss authorities granted a banking license to the first Switzerland-based bank that operates according to Sharia principles. Others have followed. “There are simply not enough financial products being created in the West for Muslim clients,” says John Sandwick, managing director of Swiss asset management firm Encore Management. “If no effort is made whatsoever, I am afraid the world will pass Switzerland by in the race to control the rich prize: which today is worth hundreds of billions, but in the future will be trillions of dollars of Islamic wealth.” Michael Fouad Chahine of Credit Suisse says “The development of Islamic banking has so far been limited to countries with a higher percentage of Muslims. But this is changing as more international regulators accept the importance of Sharia. It is now also accepted as socially responsible banking.”

How “socially responsible” and “ethical” is it to try to grab a share of the billions of dollars amassed by rich Arabs, while turning a blind eye to the fact that a substantial part of the money is used to promote terrorism and the establishment of an Islamic government over the entire globe?

In one of his sermons, Sheikh Al-Qaradhawi, one of the supervisors of the Sharia-compliant financial services offered in Britain, speaks of “the conquest of Rome.” In view of the recent article of the Osservatore Romano, Al-Qaradhawi’s words sound rather ominous:

“The city of Hirqil [Constantinople] was conquered by the young 23-year-old Ottoman Muhammad bin Morad, known in history as Muhammad the Conqueror, in 1453. The other city, Romiyya [Rome], remains, and we hope and believe [that it too will be conquered]. This means that Islam will return to Europe as a conqueror and victor, after being expelled from it twice […]. In one of my previous programs, I said that I think that this conquest [of Rome] would not be by the sword or armies, but by preaching and ideology. Europe will see that it suffers from materialistic culture, and will seek an alternative, it will seek a way out, it will seek a lifeboat. It will find no lifesaver but the message of Islam.”

Here is a text from the pen of René Servoise, former ambassador of France to Indonesia. It is posted at Bivouac-Id, Le Post and Terre d'Israel. Despite its length, I chose to abridge it only slightly.

A mutation of our nation is in progress. It is growing, it is profound but uncontrolled. In all likelihood, the immense majority of Frenchmen are unaware of it.

Hundreds of thousands of Muslim families, from North Africa, the Middle East and black Africa - whose religion, aspirations and mores are radically different from ours - now live on our soil. Their birth rate is higher than that of European families. What is the consequence? Within 30 years the population of Islamist culture could be in the majority among those 40 years old or younger. "In France, we will have between 6 and 8 million Arabs by the years 2005 - 2010," said Edgar Pisani, honorary president of the Arab World Institute. We have been duly warned: this is a radical transformation (political, economic, cultural and social) of our society.

This mutation is in progress at the very moment when, to use Toynbee's expression, "an external proletariat" is forming on the southern and western shores of the Mediterranean Sea. This army of reservists came about as a result of the birth rate of these peoples, and the absence of an economic policy capable of guaranteeing them a decent life in their homeland. In front of them lie France, Italy, Spain and Germany, lands of mirage, highly developed, with guaranteed employment, free social protection and education. Who could resist the call of this "promised land"?

At the same time, all over the world, roused by immense hopes, Islam is enjoying an unprecedented revival. It is awakening after a long night. It has renewed vigor, pugnacity and ambitions. From Morocco to Indonesia, from the Muslim States of Central Asia to black Africa, more than one billion two hundred million men - young compared to the aging populations of Europe - constitute a "community" (Umma).

It is transnational, motivated by spiritual aspirations, material demands and political ambitions, and (here and there) financed by revenue from oil.

In France, the successive waves of Italians, Poles, central European Jews, Spaniards and Portuguese, had never posed comparable problems of integration. Why? Because they belonged to the European branch. Their religious traditions and their ambition to acquire more individual freedoms facilitated their assimilation. Finally - and this is far from the least important reason - these immigrants expressed a desire to share the destiny of the French nation. To meld into it. Integration cannot be decreed. In order for it to materialize it must be desired by two, this is obvious. And the two must converge. Today, the situation is different, radically different. An active and determined minority among the Islamists refuses integration. Deliberately.

In close communion with Islam (its matrix), it is receptive to orders from abroad, to spiritual counsel, ideology and financial support. And much more. Not only does it intend to keep its identity, but to re-Islamize the non-practicing, if not convert the natives of the host country to the true faith. Islam has never conceived of itself as a minority in a secular State, but necessarily as the majority religion. (...) Exalted by its renewal, propelled both by its demography and its absence of economic development, infiltrating wherever there is no resistance, Islam is advancing like a wave.

The French people can measure its vitality by the number of mosques multiplying on their territory (sometimes with the help of Catholic and lay leaders), mosques run by imams 96% of whom are from foreign countries. Also by the prospect of seeing - in the second half of the 21st century - the fall of Catholicism in France to second rank, leaving first place to Islam.

Thus two dynamics are developing: one inside our borders (...); the other outside (...) Concomitant and convergent, these changes are determining factors for Europe and for the French nation where the demographic stagnation is alarming.



The map below shows the growth of mosques, with the dark green areas indicating more than 30 mosques. The years range from 1985 to 2008. Their growth is amazing.




Every nation expresses itself through a subtle, delicate and secret balance between dreams, ambitions and strengths, sometimes contradictory, transcended by a common aspiration to live together and to do great things together. This national identity is for some its soul; for others its genius. Each nation is a plant nourished by a land and a History, pride in its past. "Immediate to the heart of God," it is unique and therefore justified.

How many centuries, wars, concessions, sacrifices and omissions were necessary for France, England, Spain and Germany to overcome - finally - their internal divisions and to become what they are!

If it is fitting - as Montesquieu recommends - to only touch institutions with a trembling hand, what can one say about the respect due the profound harmony of our nation, its internal composition - the measure of its permanence and of its performance?


To the lessons drawn from our past, the present adds new warnings about the future on a daily basis. How can we allow ourselves to be blinded to the point of not seeing the proliferation and the exasperation of ethnic and religious conflicts all around us, since the same causes produce the same effects?



He then lists some of the numerous ethnic conflicts in the world, including those in Asia, Africa and Europe.

Are we Frenchmen, after having overcome so many rebellions, insurrections and revolutions, after having liquidated our quarrels between Catholics, Protestants, Israelites and Free Thinkers; between nobles, bourgeois and proletariat, about to allow conditions that foster disintegration to take hold?

Warning. If native Frenchmen fail to be the most numerous, we will see that our days are numbered. If we fail to limit the number of immigrants, we will be judged as wanting in the scales of History. If we fail to affirm our national ambition, we will set the stage for the bursting apart of our nation.

Remember. One day, in Babylon, on the wall of his palace, Belshazzar saw letters written in fire, three warnings: MENE MENE, TEKEL, PARSIN. The prophet Daniel translated them thus:

"God has numbered the days of your kingdom and brought it to an end."

"You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting."

"Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and the Persians."

For us today the warnings come daily on our TV screens. But no prophet dares translate them.

What kind of France, dear reader, do you hope to bequeath to your children?

Youth is Hollow

Youth is empty and hollow, yet sees itself as full,
Drifting as dandelion seeds without direction,
Callow in its form, it flies into the storm,
And seeks its sanctuary in sublime disasters,
Casting away its days as dust in the wind,
The sterile scatter of squandered seconds,
As minute by minute it surrenders itself.
So many dead seeds sown upon salted soils,
In the season of our follies, the spring of innocence,
Sleeps in daily waking dreams, slowly fading,
Into the red rut of night, furrowed by reason,
Where the ashes of the sun fade and die,
In the embers of the West’s dark grave,
The years of yesterday will forever remain,
As regrets, forever unspoken but forever present.
For the folly of youth is the infinite future,
That stretches before us unbroken by time,
Immortal we lived, eternal we seemed,
Our lithe limbs gilded with groaning pleasures,
Sought the sweet ripe fruits of sensation,
Our tender tongues teased the scarlet berries,
That budded upon the pale boughs of bliss,
In the secret gardens of our temptations.
Lean as a panther upon the hunt, I ran,
When the hunger was everything, pale flesh,
Was the prize of my endless pursuit, insatiable,
Flashed the fires of my desires, forever burning,
Writhing as serpents in my awakening soul.
As false systems stalked us in the shadows,

Where we laid our lives upon altars of deception,
Until youth fled, its beauty broken and ravaged,
For the price of wisdom is the wasted past,
And hate for the hollows that time has left behind.

Thrice She Turned ...

This poem is based on an experience I had last year when I was walking down the street and a swift flew down and three times flew around me in a perfect circle then flew away again into the sky.

Within a few days the swifts had left for Africa on their annual migration.




Thrice She Turned.


Thrice in flight she formed a perfect circle,
Scything anti-clockwise, swiftly turning,
Her wingtips whispered upon the wind,
Beating gravity at its own game, rejoicing,
As she bound us both within a mystery,
I felt our souls meet in perfect union,
As an ancient oath, timeless in its bond,
A baptism of sorts, sacred in its simplicity,
Until she shivered then winged away,
And as she departed, the shadows came.


As the soul is gifted by god to the flesh,
To reap the harvest of sublime sensation,
For her the roaring sky and clods of cloud ,
Are more than just page bound words,
They are the very breath and beat of her being,
And yet in the midst of such exultation,
At the very moment of her escaping,
She paused to cast a spell upon a man,
Whose limbs of clay and mired drag,
Were pitiful before the flutters of her beauty.



In her eyes I beheld something eternal,
When she caught me in her gaze, as a goddess,
Would gaze down upon a mere mortal,
I knew then the sacred connection,
That she was so much more than I,
Wise beyond all words, holy as hope,
For she had seen the true face of god,
Lit with celestial fire, blinding bright,
Fanning high above the shining blue,
Then flew to earth, sighing with his love.



At last she returns, a distant speck descending,
With the sun in her soul, bestows her blessings,
The earth blooms anew in verdant fruition,
As she banishes frosts and winters white bane,
For the world still works, the magic remains,
The flocks that left last year now return,
With my eyes on the sky I seek her curves,
As she tumbles in space, a rapturous reprise,
The ceremonies begin, for now summer arrives.
