Few books have the power to shock as Unsung Hero by Kevin Fulton.

The book is an expose of the twenty years that 'Fulton', a British army undercover soldier spent inside the top of the IRA.

The book details his rise to the top of the IRA and also his betrayal by the British Army, MI5 and the Force Reconissance Unit - a shadowy unit that operated above the law itself.

In the book Fulton reveals that the truth about the death of Captain Robert Nairac of the Grenadier Guards, an undercover British soldier who tried to infiltrate the IRA. He was so badly tortured by the IRA and so mutilated in the course of his 'interrogation' that the IRA knew that if his body was ever found they would be regarded as little more then animals. So they scalped him, gutted him and put his corpose through a mincding machine in a factory in Derry and used it to make pet food.

The book also reveals that the IRA was virtually run by the British state.

Fulton was betrayed by his MI5 handlers in order to ensure that a more senior IRA officer, Freddie Scappaticci, A MAN WHO WAS THE TOP TORTURER AND KILLER OF THE IRA 'nutting Squad' its internal investigation department , was protected.

In other words the British government and MI5 sanctioned a British soldier going undercover into the IRA and then set him up for execution by the IRA in order to protect a more senior asset in the IRA.

It is later mentioned in the book that Scappaticci was not the most senior IRA man under the control of MI5 - and this hints that it may have been Martin McGuiness who was the top IRA / MI5 officer under the control of the British government.

Later in the book Fulton reveals the real reason why the Real IRA murderers who planted the bomb at Omagh have never been taken to court or their cases investigated - it is because, surprise surprise, the actual bomber, Sean Hoey, was also working for the RUC as a tout.

This explains why the RUC were actively monitoring the bombers on the day, but allowed them through to deliver the Omagh bomb.

This also explains why no-one will ever be prosecuted for Omagh, as to do so would mean the role of the RUC in the bombing would be exposed.

Fulton also makes the extraordinary claim that the murder of Sinn Feinn party official Denis Donaldson, who had been outed as a British spy, on the 4th April 2006 was actually committed not by the IRA, but by sections of British intelligence trying to cover up what they had been involved in - and also to ensure the identity of Martin McGuiness as a British spy was not revealed by Donaldson.

This book is devastating.

For every Loyalist who thought the British state was on their side in the conflict it reveals that the British State was virtually running the IRA. It reveals how the RUC officers, British Army soldiers and loyalists who were slaughtered in the war were allowed to die - and often the killers in the IRA working for the FRU were ordered to kill them by MI5 and the FRU.

Brigadier Gordon Kerr, identified as being involved in the deaths of at least fifteen Irish Republicans during his tenure as head of the FRU or the Force Reconnaissance Unit in Northern Ireland. Promoted from Lt. Colonel to Brigadier for his efforts, Kerr was given the job as military attaché in Beijing, largely to keep him out of the way of an investigation into the activities of the FRU in the assassination of human rights lawyer Pat Finucane and as many as fourteen other people.

Assigned by foreign secretary Jack Straw before the invasion of Iraq took place, to ‘de-Baathify’ Iraq, it will come as no surprise that he was subsequently handed the task of heading up the re-branded FRU, now known as the Special Reconnaissance Unit (SRR) in Iraq, almost certainly the group that the two agents provocateurs captured by Iraqi police in Basra, belonged to if not directly, then because of the relationship between the SRR and the SAS.

The FRU’s collusion with right-wing death squads in northern Ireland is a fact established by the so-called Stevens Commission into collusion between the British state and groups like the UDA (the Ulster Defence Association) and the now disbanded (or again, re-branded) Royal Ulster Constabulary in the assassination of leading Republican activists. The FRU passed on intelligence to groups like the UDA obtained via plants or in some cases, ‘freelance’ operatives who played fast and loose with the facts in order to get their monthly pay cheque. It was dis-information that led to the assassination of Pat Finucane in front of his family.

These loyalist double agents, including the Ulster Defence Association’s chief of intelligence, Brian Nelson, were handed packages of photographs and military reports detailing the movements and addresses of potential targets, which in turn were passed to loyalist murder gangs. In total, an estimated 15 civilians died as a result of FRU collusion with loyalist terrorists. One victim of this collusion was the Catholic solicitor, Pat Finucane, who counted a number of prominent republicans among his clients. Other victims included known Provos and high ranking republicans; but a handful – perhaps five – were so-called innocents, people who had no other reason to die other than the fact they were Catholic.

The involvement of the FRU, now renamed as the Special Reconnaissance Unit (SRR) in Iraq, reveals why two British SAS officers were arrested by the Iraqi police for planting bombs in Iraq on September 19th 2005.

The officers were acting as False Flag operatives in order to destabilise Iraq and set Shiia against Sunni in order for the US government to run the country and to ensure that there was enough terrorist activity in Iraq to ensure US and UK troops were required for 'security reasons' to stay as an ccupying force in the country controlling the oil - classic Divide and Rule tactics.

Perhaps someone can explain why undercover SAS officers were driving around Iraq dressed as Arabs with plastic explosives and remote control detonators ?

Remote control detonators have no tactical use in a military role - only a terrorist role.

Perhaps someone can also explain why the officer in charge of the FRU which was stated by Lord Stevens to have been involved in ordering murders, was allowed to be sent to Iraq to run the Special Reconnaissance Unit ?

For every IRA supporter who wants to understand the war and the IRA's role in it the book reveals that the IRA was virtually run by the British state and was infiltrated from top to bottom.

For the families of IRA activists labelled as 'touts' who were then shot and killed by British agents such as Freddie Scappaticci it reveals that they probably were not touts, but were people killed to protect the British state operatives embedded in the IRA. For all those exiled from Northern Ireland as touts, it appears that the real touts are now sitting in the Executive in Northen Ireland.

For all those Catholics killed by the IRA, it appears that the IRA was virtually run by the British government. Whilst the FRU was supplying death lists to the Loyalists, the FRU was also ordering their spies in the IRA to execute undercover British soldiers in the IRA who were trying to save the lives of loyalists and inncocent Catholics.

Whilst the FRU was organising the death of Catholics through the loyalist para-militaries, the IRA killers operating under the control of the FRU were killing Loyalists, British soldiers and RUC officers.

Kevin Fulton was himself a CATHOLIC who was born and brought up in a Republican stronghold in Newry, County Down.

Fulton contends that the ONLY reason the war in Northern Ireland went on for so long was that it justified the powers, expenses, staffing and authority of the security services involved in it.

With the article in todays The Telegaph revealing that in an attempt to deal with the growing number of islamic terrorists, MI5 now has nine regional offices and has almost doubled its staff numbers from 1,800 in 2001 to 3,500 today, the same expansion of the secret state has occured as in relation to Northern Ireland.

The July 29 edition of FOX News Channel's Day Side programme revealed that the so called mastermind of the 7/7 London Bombings, Haroon Rashid Aswat, is a British Intelligence Asset. Former Justice Dept. prosecutor and Terror expert John Loftus revealed that the so called Al-Muhajiroun group, based in London had formed during the Kosovo crisis, during which Fundamentalist Muslim Leaders (Or what is now referred to as Al Qaeda) were recruited by MI6 to fight in Kosovo.

Loftus stated that "...back in the late 1990s, the leaders all worked for British intelligence in Kosovo. Believe it or not, British intelligence actually hired some Al-Qaeda guys to help defend the Muslim rights in Albania and in Kosovo. That's when Al-Muhajiroun got started."

The old adage says - First you must create an enemy, before you have to fight an enemy. Former MI5 officer David Shayler has alleged, and French intel sources have corroborated, that the MI6 paid a Libyan al-Qa'ida cell £100,000 in 1995 to assassinate colonel Qaddafi. The use of the group that has come to be known as "Al Qaeda" as assets by Intelligence services the world over is well documented.

The London Independent also reported 2 days before the London Bombings how MI5 has previously used so called Al Qaeda operatives as informants, allowing them to be left alone as a trade off. This only came to light when Bisher al-Rawi was captured by the CIA and taken to the detention centre at Guantanamo Bay. The original Independent link has now mysteriously been removed.

Now we know why the oh so fortunate ' anti-terrorism operation ' was deployed in London on the day of the 7/7 bombings and also why the same security operation was in place in the US on 911 - both were operations planned and run in collusion with sections of the UK and US secret security services with terrorists who were actually working for MI5 and CIA assets , and not for Al Qaeda as they believed, to act as the pretext for the invasion of Iraq and to ensure that the British and US public were foaming at the mouth for war and for us to stay in Iraq and 'finish the job'.

One such 'unnamed' source - a former SAS sergeant - reveals that the 'accident' in which Diana died bore all the tell-tail signs of a known special forces assassination technique known as the 'Boston brakes'.
