The Fall of the American Empire

The Fall of the American Empire is the same process as experienced during the Fall of Rome.

Below are listed the reasons for the fall of Rome and below them what is happening today.

The Fall of the American Empire will lead to the fall of the European Union and the start of civil wars across Europe.

Our politicians have learnt nothing from history.

Below are the factors that caused the Fall of Rome and how they are being replicated today ;

Decline in Morals and Values

Those morals and values that kept together the Roman legions and thus the empire could not be maintained towards the end of the empire. Crimes of violence made the streets of the larger cities unsafe. Even during PaxRomana there were 32,000 prostitutes in Rome. Emperors like Nero and Caligula became infamous for wasting money on lavish parties where guests ate and drank until they became ill. The most popular amusement was watching the gladiatorial combats in the Colosseum. These were attended by the poor, the rich, and frequently the emperor himself. As gladiators fought, vicious cries and curses were heard from the audience. One contest after another was staged in the course of a single day. Should the ground become too soaked with blood, it was covered over with a fresh layer of sand and the performance went on.

TODAY - Multi-culutralism has destroyed national and civic cohesion. The notion of the nation state has been replaced by community ghettoes. As a result Islamist terrorists born in the UK blow up buses and trains as a way to express their hatred of the British nation. No unifying national narrative exists, and all communities care only about themselves. The entire political class are corrupt and the streets of our cities are experiencing crime waves as immigrant hordes enter our country and create their own crime gangs. The TV and media promote drug abuse, family breakdown, sexual immorality and seek to sexualise children. Entertainment is based on the vicious and callous spectacle of Big Brother and Cage Fighting, and gladatorial combat in every home. Foreign footballers are shipped in to entertain the masses and the Olympics drain billions from the public coffers. Even the Gladiators TV show is on the TV recreating in a dumbed down way the same Roman spectacle as in the days before the fall of Rome.

The trade in sex slaves and child prostitutes into the UK is vast, on a par not seen since the days of the slave trade. Slaves are shipped into the UK and babies sold to immigrants so that they can access council accomodation and benefits.

The very fact that the Gladiators TV show is on ourt TV screens is deeply symbolic, it is as Jung would say ' a prefiguration' of the collapse of our civilisations just a Rome collapsed.

Public Health

There were many public health and environmental problems. Many of the wealthy had water brought to their homes through lead pipes. Previously the aqueducts had even purified the water but at the end lead pipes were thought to be preferable. The wealthy death rate was very high. The continuous interaction of people at the Colosseum, the blood and death probable spread disease. Those who lived on the streets in continuous contact allowed for an uninterrupted strain of disease much like the homeless in the poorer run shelters of today. Alcohol use increased as well adding to the incompetency of the general public.

Today - MSRI infects our hospitals, Foot and Mouth, Swine Fever and Blue tongue have hit our country. B.S.E caused by deregulation is a ticking time bomb of a public health disaster. Bush meat and diseased carcasses are imported into the country to feed immigrant degenerates. Alcoholism is rampant, as is drug abuse. Industrial pollution damages our fertility and environmental destruction is caused by toxins and poisons from industry in our waters. Climate change threatens our weather and crops.

Worst of all Colony Disorder and Varroa mite disease and infestations are destroying the bees in our country thereby threatening the entire food chain.

Albert Einstein speculated that "If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe, then man would only have four years of life left."

http://www.heyokamagazine.com/HEYOKA.7.BEES.htm

The natural enviroment both in the UK and worldwide in crisis and will lead to eco-conflicts, resource wars and water wars in the near future.

Already food riots are breaking out across the world and famine stalks nations such as Ethiopia again. These famines will cause mass migation ino Europe and the UK further destabilising our societies.

Political Corruption

One of the most difficult problems was choosing a new emperor. Unlike Greece where transition may not have been smooth but was at least consistent, the Romans never created an effective system to determine how new emperors would be selected. The choice was always open to debate between the old emperor, the Senate, the Praetorian Guard (the emperor's's private army), and the army. Gradually, the Praetorian Guard gained complete authority to choose the new emperor, who rewarded the guard who then became more influential, perpetuating the cycle. Then in 186 A. D. the army strangled the new emperor, the practice began of selling the throne to the highest bidder. During the next 100 years, Rome had 37 different emperors - 25 of whom were removed from office by assassination. This contributed to the overall weaknesses of the empire.

Today - today we have a TWO PARTY STATE controlled by the media. Politicians are not elected to serve the country or the people, they are simply prostitues of the media. The entire political class is corrupt. The recent scandalous debacle where the 43 days detention legislation was passed by the Labour government by bribing the Ulster Unionists to support the removal of our civil rights was proof of how corrupt our political system is.

The Lobby Groups control the direction political parties and presidents take, such as AIPAC directs US foreign policy and the Irish Lobby allowed the US to fund the IRA. Suadi oil interests dominate the US economy and the SHADOW GOVERNMENT of the US Military-Industrial Block control the nation in the shadows and send US troops to fight their Neo-Imperialist Oil wars.

Unemployment

During the latter years of the empire farming was done on large estates called latifundia that were owned by wealthy men who used slave labor. A farmer who had to pay workmen could not produce goods as cheaply. Many farmers could not compete with these low prices and lost or sold their farms. This not only undermined the citizen farmer who passed his values to his family, but also filled the cities with unemployed people. At one time, the emperor was importing grain to feed more than 100,000 people in Rome alone. These people were not only a burden but also had little to do but cause trouble and contribute to an ever increasing crime rate.

Today - Farming in the UK is based mainly on Factory Farming and Industrial agriculture, the latter day equivalent of the Latifundia, and the UK relys on cheap migrant labour to pick the crops. Price rises in farming commodities, after decades of slump, are now enriching farmers but causing huge prices rises for consumers driving many poor people into food and energy poverty. When reccession comes then these migrant workers will be thrown onto he dole and then we will witness a rerun of the Roman dole problem.

1/3 of homes in the UK rely on benefits.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1542427/One-third-of-homes-dependent-on-benefits.html

One in three households across Britain is now dependent on the state for at least half its income, it emerged today.

Official government figures showed that more than seven million households are getting most of their income from government handouts.

A huge class of state employees work for the government in the Servile State. The cost to the taxpayer of running Britain's sprawling empire of quangos has soared to £124billion - up almost 60 per cent in just three years.

Inflation

The roman economy suffered from inflation (an increase in prices) beginning after the reign of Marcus Aurelius. Once the Romans stopped conquering new lands, the flow of gold into the Roman economy decreased. Yet much gold was being spent by the romans to pay for luxury items. This meant that there was less gold to use in coins. As the amount of gold used in coins decreased, the coins became less valuable. To make up for this loss in value, merchants raised the prices on the goods they sold. Many people stopped using coins and began to barter to get what they needed. Eventually, salaries had to be paid in food and clothing, and taxes were collected in fruits and vegetables.

Today - Inflation in the UK due to oil prices is now at almost 14 %. This will rise to almost 20-30 % as the oil price rises. The government figures state it is just 3 % in order to ensure the trades unions do not demand more wages for their workers, so British workers are now being paid less year after year as price rises year after year for almost all commodities ranging from food to energy. The value of the dollar has crashed and the pound has weakened. Inflation will be hitting so hard that stagflation is about to begin followed by reccession and possible economic collapse.

The petro-dollar recyling system is about to crash due to Peak Oil and the UK service industry economy is going to collapse as less money = less service industries. The crash in Financial services such as banking due to the sub prime crash will mean a crsh in investment in new industries as bankers hold onto their liquidity as the housing market crashes as no new mortgages are being issued and houses plunge into negative equity.

Urban decay

Wealthy Romans lived in a domus, or house, with marble walls, floors with intricate colored tiles, and windows made of small panes of glass. Most Romans, however, were not rich, They lived in small smelly rooms in apartment houses with six or more stories called islands. Each island covered an entire block. At one time there were 44,000 apartment houses within the city walls of Rome. First-floor apartments were not occupied by the poor since these living quarters rented for about $100 a year. The more shaky wooden stairs a family had to climb, the cheaper the rent became. The upper apartments that the poor rented for $40 a year were hot, dirty, crowded, and dangerous. Anyone who could not pay the rent was forced to move out and live on the crime-infested streets. Because of this cities began to decay.

Today - The UK infrastructure ranging from trains, railways, roads, the national grid to oil exploration and extraction facilities is declining year after year. The point when the decay is so bad that the nation does not have the money to repair this infrastructure is fast approaching. House building companies hve seen up to a thirdwiped off their values in recent days due to the sub prime motgage collapse and are throwing vast amounts of workers onto the dole.

Housing projects have been stopped as few people are being given mortgages. House prices are collapsing at a vast rate and the people in negative equity is rising. Lack of council homes due to migrants taking them means conflict between the homeless will break out once the crisis deepens.

Inferior Technology

During the last 400 years of the empire, the scientific achievements of the Romans were limited almost entirely to engineering and the organization of public services. They built marvelous roads, bridges, and aqueducts. They established the first system of medicine for the benefit of the poor. But since the Romans relied so much on human and animal labor, they failed to invent many new machines or find new technology to produce goods more efficiently. They could not provide enough goods for their growing population. They were no longer conquering other civilizations and adapting their technology, they were actually losing territory they could not longer maintain with their legions.

Today - The dependence on arab oil means we are vulnerable to total social collapse as peak oil hits. We have not invested in renewable energy systems to ensure national energy autarchy. Our industries reply on fossil fuels and nuclear power, even though the number of nuclear power plants is about to be halved and with them almost 40 % of our national energy production.

Lack of investment in solar power, wind power etc means we are facing imminent social collapse and chaos.

Military Spending

Maintaining an army to defend the border of the Empire from barbarian attacks was a constant drain on the government. Military spending left few resources for other vital activities, such as providing public housing and maintaining quality roads and aqueducts. Frustrated Romans lost their desire to defend the Empire. The empire had to begin hiring soldiers recruited from the unemployed city mobs or worse from foreign counties. Such an army was not only unreliable, but very expensive. The emperors were forced to raise taxes frequently which in turn led again to increased inflation.

Today - The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have cost us billions. This has meant that as privte debt has grown the governments public debt has also grown to finance those wars. With no industries to produce wealth, as we are a service and financial economy, this means global bad debt will destroy our service and financial industries. The lack of liquidity to invst in new businesses and also offshoring of jobs to China and India means the UK is about to go into a debt crisis.

The ongoing war in Iraq and Afghanistan will soon be joined by an attack on Iran that will push up pil prices and cause global terrorism and conflicts. With no government wealth reserves and private debt mountains, the money required to invest in new UK infrastructure and industries does not exist. We face a collapse as a specific result of our dependence on banking and finance for our national income.

THE FINAL BLOWS

For years, the well-disciplined Roman army held the barbarians of Germany back. Then in the third century A. D. the Roman soldiers were pulled back from the Rhine-Danube frontier to fight civil war in Italy. This left the Roman border open to attack. Gradually Germanic hunters and herders from the north began to overtake Roman lands in Greece and Gaul (later France). Then in 476 A. D. the Germanic general Odacer or Odovacar overthrew the last of the Roman Emperors, Augustulus Romulus. From then on the western part of the Empire was ruled by Germanic chieftain. Roads and bridges were left in disrepair and fields left untilled. Pirates and bandits made travel unsafe. Cities could not be maintained without goods from the farms, trade and business began to disappear. And Rome was no more in the West.

Today - Mass immigation into Europe from the Third World due to climate change is about to send hundreds of millions of eco-migrants into Europe. These people will either flood and destroy our cities or will create civil wars wherever they arrive. The EU has already stated that it will not stop these migrants from entering Europe and therefore the destruction of EUROPE BY THESE HORDES IS VIRTUALLY GUARANTEED.

Enbtire swathes of Europe will become refugee zones where these groups will bring their tribal hatreds and create their own low level wars. These wars will increasingly suck in the indigenous populations.

Their presence in Europe will bring disease and famine as scarce resources, such as food due to Peak Oil hitting pesticides and fertiliser production leading to lower yeilds combined with the collapse of the eco-system due to the varroa mite and colony disorder of bees, will lead to mass famine even in Europe.

Food riots will break out leading to low level eco-conflicts and eventual civil wars.

The cities will become like in the Middle Ages as walled forts where you will only be allowed to enter if you can show you have money to spend.

The poor will sit outside the city walls in poverty.

The Fall has begun.

War, famine, death (and hell) - preceded by a 'peace process' that kicks the whole devastation off.

Revelation 6, KJV - around since 1611.

No-one can say they weren't warned, not in the West anyway.

Thanks for the article, Lee. A precise analysis and analogy.

Interesting blog, indeed the connections between the modern world and ancient Rome are as many as the threads of a spiders web.

I have a couple of corrections, if I may.

The lead pipes theory has long been disproved, the vast majority of Roman piping was concrete.
The few lead pipes were all encrusted with calcium carbonate (from limestone) which lowered lead exposure to miniscule levels.

Vitruvius, writing at the time of Augustus, recorded that the Romans knew of the danger in using lead pipes and, that terracotta or concrete was preferred.

To quote Vitruvius from 'De Architectura':
"Water conducted through earthen pipes is more wholesome than that through lead; indeed that conveyed in lead must be injurious, because from it white lead [cerussa, lead carbonate, PbCO3] is obtained, and this is said to be injurious to the human system. This may be verified by observing the workers in lead, who are of a pallid colour; water should therefore on no account be conducted in leaden pipes if we are desirous that it should be wholesome" (VIII.6.10-11).

Also, Commodus was killed in 192, not 186.

thanks. ;)

See Churchill, Hitler and the Unnecessary War: How Britain Lost Its Empire and the West Lost the World.

A response to a critic by the author Patrick J. Buchanan ... The focus ... is on the colossal blunders by British statesmen that reduced Britain from the greatest empire since Rome into an island dependency of the United States in three decades. It is a cautionary tale, written for America, which is treading the same path Britain trod in the early 20th century ...

Thanks bert,

Great book that by the way

"Mass immigration into Europe from the Third World due to climate change is about to send hundreds of millions of eco-migrants into Europe."

Due to climate change? What climate change is this that is going to spark mass immigration? Since when have India, Pakistan, Africa, the Carribean and Eastern Europe undergone a climate change that caused mass immigration of millions to the UK and Europe?

Mass immigration will continue for the same reasons as always: marxism and global captialism but let's not spoil the climate change bogeyman with the truth.

Chris.

Climate change due to man made problems exists 100 % .

Its just that the problem of climate change is simply HUMAN OVER POPULATION and not a product of manmade c02 emissions.

Too many people = not enough food, water, destruction of the environment etc etc

Their is climate change mate - but not what he have been told it is and not what we have been told is causing it.

Man due to over population has and is destroying the planet and the biosphere, and that is the climate change that I mean.

This climate change we see is simply Malthus theory in action.
