Burning The Koran And The Law

Following the usual howls of outrage from the media, and also the pathetic Islamist supporting morons in the Far Right, its time that someone took a stand and spelled out the facts.

If you own a copy of the Koran, or any book, then that is your property.

If you decide to burn that property, or flush it down the toilet, then that is entirely your perogative.

Its your property after all.

But remember that context in such circumstances is everything.

If you decide to burn your copy of the Koran then do not make the mistake of doing it in order to make some political point whilst you are doing so, for if you do then you will suffer what a BNP chap has suffered - which is a police investigation, arrest, charge and being kept on remand.

If you have a copy of the Koran that you do not want anymore then when you decide to destroy that private property by burning it for example, then do not do or say anything even remotely political or that could be construed as seeking to create religious or racial hatred, either directly or indirectly.

Do not make any political points or religious issues points, whilst you are doing so, for if you do so then you may be arrested.

Simply film yourself doing so if you wish and say nothing at all whilst burning your copy of the Koran if you decide that burning is your preffered method of destroying your private property such as books.

Its not a crime to film oneself burning the Koran, just as it is not a crime to film oneself burning a Bible or any other book you own, as long as you do not politicise the act or seek to inflame racial hatred by doing so.

I intend this week to burn a copy of the Conservative Party Manifesto for fun, though of course I can burn such private property without fear of arrest as due to it being a political booklet the law has decided that the ideas in it are of less importance than the ideas and beliefs in the Koran.

The ideas in an 7th century religious book are nowadays regarded in our society as of far more importance than the electoral manifesto of a political defining the way our country is governed, how our democracy functions and also all the rights and liberties such as free speech our ancestors fought and died for to protect and pass onto us.

The moment you seek to make a political point whilst burning a copy of the Koran, then the local plod at the behest of the wankers in The Guardian may come and arrest you.

Note that if you rape a women or even a child or collect child porn you will not end up on remand in most cases.

But if you burn a Koran and make it a political issue, then you will incurr the wrath of your local politically correct, career chasing, brownosing hobby bobby and his ACPO arsehole boss and will probably be arrested.

This is because the right of Islamists not to be offended by the burning of your private property, the Koran for example, is of far more importance in our politically correct society than the right of free speech - or even your right to do as you wish with your own private property.

The problem for the CPS in prosecuting this case is simple - a MODERATE MUSLIM is someone who will not be offended by the burning of the Koran.

Due to the fact they are MODERATE MUSLIMS, they will realise that Islam as a religion is capable of surviving the burning of a Koran and also that our democratic system and multi-racial society will also survive if any number of Korans are burnt.

The fact that a few demented head choppers in a third world nation may read The Guardian online and become pissed off that someone has burnt the Koran in the UK or America, is irrelevant to the law in the UK.

A moderate Muslim is someone who realises that the only 'hate' generated by the burning of the Koran is generated by the media seeking to exploit and sensationalise such a stunt and also by the radical Islamists who will use it to terrorise society into further surrendering our free speech to them.

A moderate muslims will put freedom of speech before their personal opinions as they are British citizens who value liberty, free speech and tolerance - and unless the CPS are saying that no moderate muslims exist in Britain, then the arrest of anyone burning the Koran, even it is for a political purpose, is tantamount to saying that multi-culturalism has failed, that no Muslims are fully integrated British citizens who respect our culture of tolerance and free speech and that we have to surrender our democracy to the Islamist opponents of free speech who are motivated only by their own personal brand of religious fanaticism.

Now that would be an interesting admission for the CPS to take in any prosecution, and I can see some clever barrister or QC tearing this pathetic prosecution to pieces if it ever comes to court.

It seems a clear double standard exists between the Koran and the Bible.

Just as its entirely acceptable for the US army to burn Bibles in Afghanistan, then it is okay for anyone to burn a copy of the Koran in the UK.

http://edition.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/asiapcf/05/20/us.military.bibles.burned/

Military personnel threw away, and ultimately burned, confiscated Bibles that were printed in the two most common Afghan languages amid concern they would be used to try to convert Afghans, a Defense Department spokesman said Tuesday.

The unsolicited Bibles sent by a church in the United States were confiscated about a year ago at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan because military rules forbid troops of any religion from proselytizing while deployed there, Lt. Col. Mark Wright said.

Such religious outreach can endanger American troops and civilians in the devoutly Muslim nation, Wright said.

"The decision was made that it was a 'force protection' measure to throw them away, because, if they did get out, it could be perceived by Afghans that the U.S. government or the U.S. military was trying to convert Muslims," Wright told CNN on Tuesday.

Troops at posts in war zones are required to burn their trash, Wright said.

It appears that this differential in treatment beween the Koran and the Bible is based on the fact that Christians turn the other cheek to such affronts, whilst Islamists plant bombs and behead people

And the Islamists are also in those nations who have the oil of course.

Perhaps it is time for the Christians to realise that turning the other cheek isnt a good strategy in our multi-cultural society anymore.

Perhaps it is time for militant Christians to adopt the same tactics the militant Islamists are.

At least then the governments of the West would think twice in the future before arresting people for disposing of their personal property as they wish.

Just remember this - Free Speech is not free.

It was paid for with the blood, sacrifice and lives of countless generations of our folk and people who fought against internal tyrants and extrenal enemies in order to pass on the right of speech to us today.

Those that betray the right of free speech are the enemies of everything we stand for - and that includes the idiot coppers, corrupt ACPO lick spittles, Islamists with law degrees in the CPS and the corrupt morons in the governments wjho pass laws to take away free speech in order to arse lick the poisonous monstrosity of political correctness that has turned our society into a liberal fascist tyranny.

Another angle to this, Lee, which might be worth pursuing.

England and Britain is a constitutional church-state monarchy predicated on the Coronation Oath embodying the Protestant Reformed religion established by law.

Islam for several reasons is openly hostile to the Protestant Reformed religion. It is a church-state set-up that is in a perpetual state of war with any non-Moslem country wherein Islam resides e.g. the United Kingdom.

The Qur'an is basically seditious literature and should be treated as such. Any individual in this country, especially those who are supposed to be servants of the crown is surely guilty of treason and/or sedition if they support Islam in any way, shape or form.

I know TBLiar is said to have repealed the Treason Act but I don't think Parliament has this authority.

As indicated, I think the above approach to Islam in this country is worth pursuing.

Hi mate,

the avenue is think interesting is in relation to the crown allowing sharia law courts or those who hold positions where they have to give an oath to the crown eg police / judges / soldiers etc to serve the crown and who have been allowed to swear on the koran, as that that would be an interesting issue to look into.

Thanks, Lee

Re: Sharia, that is absolutely true and a very specific issue to address.

HM has regrettably broken her Coronation Oath times without number in the last 60 years - allowing Britain into the EU being another example.

However, the Oath and the Constitutional position it represents still applies and a strong case should be made along those lines.

At least via the web it can be given wide publicity, with a downloadable fact sheet for distribution.
