Did Ilya Ivanov Cause AIDS ?

On May 25, 2006 scientists stated that they have pinpointed the origin of the AIDS virus. It all started in southern Cameroon in West Central Africa around 1930, according to a study published online by the journal Science. The virus that started the global pandemic --- recognized 25 years ago next week --- passed from chimps to humans in that area.

The reservoir of the ancestral virus still exists among chimpanzee communities in the same area of Cameroon.

I think I may have discovered how the virus passed into humans from apes.

Ilya Ivanovich Ivanov (Russian: Илья Иванович Иванов, August 1 [O.S. July 20] 1870-March 20, 1932?) was a Russian and Soviet biologist who specialized in the field of artificial insemination and the interspecific hybridization of animals. He was involved in controversial attempts to create a human-ape hybrid.

The most controversial of Ivanov's studies was his attempt to create a human-ape hybrid.[1] As early as 1910 he had given a presentation to the World Congress of Zoologists in Graz in which he described the possibility of obtaining such a hybrid through artificial insemination.

In 1924, while working at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, Ivanov obtained permission from the Institute's directors to use its experimental primate station in Kindia, French Guinea, for such an experiment. Ivanov attempted to gain backing for his project from the Soviet government. He dispatched letters to the People's Commissar on Education and Science Anatoliy Vasilievich Lunacharsky and to other officials. Ivanov's proposal finally sparked the interest of Nikolai Petrovich Gorbunov, the head of the Department of Scientific Institutions. In September 1925 Gorbunov helped allocate US$10,000 to the Academy of Sciences for Ivanov's human-ape hybridization experiments in Africa.

In March 1926 Ivanov arrived at the Kindia facility, but stayed only a month without success. The Kindia site, it turned out, had no sexually mature chimpanzees. He returned to France where he arranged through correspondence with French Guinea's colonial governor to set up experiments at the botanical gardens in Conakry.

Ivanov reached Conakry in November 1926 accompanied by his son, also named Ilya, who would assist him in his experiments. Ivanov supervised the capture of adult chimpanzees in the interior of the colony, which were brought to Conakry and kept in cages in the botanical gardens.

I suspect that the chimps were caught in Cameroon, which is next to Conakry, and contained the virus.

On February 28, 1927, Ivanov artificially inseminated two female chimpanzees with human sperm (not his own or his son's). On June 25, he injected a third chimpanzee with human sperm. The Ivanovs left Africa in July with thirteen chimps, including the three used in his experiments. They already knew before leaving that the first two chimpanzees had failed to become pregnant. The third died in France, and was also found not to have been pregnant. The remaining chimps were sent to a new primate station at Sukhumi.

Although Ivanov attempted to organize the insemination of human females with chimpanzee sperm in Guinea, these plans met with resistance from the French colonial government and there is no evidence such an experiment was arranged there.

Is is too much to think that perhaps Ivanov also tried other experiments whilst in Guinea that he did not write about - experiments where he actually used local women as 'slaves' for his experiments and that he either did not write about it as they failed or that the results were hidden.

At that period of history humans were worthless.

Stalin was slaughtering millions in Russia and so the lives of black women in Africa under the French colonial government that were willing to allow this maniac to enact his insane experiments would also have been regarded as worthless.

Perhaps local women, perhaps prostitutes, were paid by Ivanon to be injected with chimp sperm and then they left the camp and spread the AID's virus in the mining camps and towns of the colony.

The fact that the origin of AID'S and the timing of these experiments and the location of the virus in the chimpanzee population and the ability of the virus to transfer due to the experiments link all the pieces together.

I suggest that scientists look closely into this theory, as it appears that this may be the source of the mechanism whereby the AID's virus shifted from chimps to humans.

Here are links to consider ;

1) The virus is present in chimps in the area that Ivanov did his experiments

2) Ivanov wanted too insert chimp sperm into females and probably did so in the area of Conakry during his experiments

3) That the chimps he used were caught in next door Cameroon at that time French West Africa

4) The virus jumped into humans at the same time as Ivanov was doing his experiments

5) The virus was from chimps in the area he was doing his research

6) The females he probably did the experiments on, inseminating them with infected chimp sperm, were probably prostitutes paid to do so

7) They then spread the disease to other human beings in the area once infected via the sex trade

8) Chimpanzees do not develop AIDS from HIV, but they can spread the virus, so they are not allowed to breed after being infected in lab experiments. So chimp sperm can pass the HIV virus and therefore an infected chimp sperm sample inseminated into a human being can pass HIV to a human being.

What do you mean Conakry, the capital of Guinea, is next to Cameroon? Guinea and Cameroon are distant from each other, separated by Togo, Benin and Nigeria.

I dont know the exact distance between them as I have never been there, but they were part of the same French African Empire.

They were all part of the same French African Empire, so it may have been the chimps used in the experiments were ;

1) trapped and imported into Conakry from Cameroon

2) the original Chimp HIV infection was quite widely dispersed in chimps across West Africa including into the area where the chimps used in Ivanovs experiments were trapped.

3) That a lot more chimps could have been infected with chimp HIV in the past but the disease is not as widely spread today, due to the 'die off' in the chimps who had the virus. This meant that the original chimp population has died off and other chimps moved in who had no contact with the virus.

If someone does know where the chimps used by Ivanov were trapped then that would be excellent.

We dont know.

The fact remains though that this theory fits EXACTLY the date required / the area of virus location / the chimp to human transmission / and methodology of transmission that are required to sustain the theory.

This is a real theory.

If I am right then I am about to become one of the most famous people on the planet, the man who cracked where AID's originated or who has provided the most palusible theory yet.

And note the Arvic Noe facts - the prostitute link again.

Looks like my theory is about to get interesting.
