The subject of the funding of election campaigns for US presidential candidates begins to attract attention in the United States. The participation of the so-called Jewish lobby in the process has also become actual recently. How important is this lobby for the United States? Who controls money flows in America? To which extent is business and power connected with each other? Pravda.Ru interviewed Geidar Jemal, the chairman of the Islamic Committee of Russia, to find out his expert opinions on these questions.
"What can you say about the connection between business and power in the United States?
"Indeed, there is real cooperation between business and power in America. Those who don't play by the rules of the White House risk to lose everything, as it happened to several American entrepreneurs in the beginning of the 1970s.

I'd say that the influence of this lobby in America is exaggerated considerably. Jewish money is easy money. This money is not really vital for the States. The Jews control many spheres there connected with the entertainment industry - show business, alcohol and media market, including advertising. The things that are more important - the things that determine the fate of the American empire such as the defense complex, steel, oil, etc - those things don't belong to the Jews. The media dollar is thus less important than the petrodollar.
"In this case, the Jewish factor is used as the smokescreen, so that people don't react to conspiracy disclosures, so that they dodge the understanding of the point of the American empire."
"Jack London wrote in his novel "The Iron Heel" that America was controlled by seven oligarchic groups in the beginning of the 20th century. Those groups owned the nation's largest trusts. Has anything changed since that time?"
"Yes, it has, and it has changed the way Jack London predicted. Larger organizations replaced the trusts. They can be referred to as transnational corporations. There are two international financial speculative oligarchic groups that have the strongest influence in America today. They are the groups of the Rockefellers and the Rothschilds, although there are other important clans too. In other words, the previous American oligarchy has expanded its influence in the world considerably. It's enough to mention the importance of US lobby in Europe. As for the USA, the state has to address the above-mentioned groups for loans, so the groups control the state."
"What about the institute of presidency? Does the head of state represent those groups? Is he some sort of a product of compromise?"
"The president as a peg boy for moneybags is a simplified Marxist vision of the situation. The institute of American presidency is not as simple as it may seem to be. They are now trying to make us believe that the appearance of Barack Obama in US politics proves that there is no consistent pattern in the coming of this or that president. They want everyone to believe that this is the product of progressive American democracy."
"Is it possible to say nowadays that the USA is the stronghold of world liberalism?"
"It depends on what you mean by world liberalism. Unlike Australia with its classic political liberalism, we can observe neoliberalism in America since the 1960s. This form of political economy rejects absolute regulation of economy by the state - it propagates the freedom of market relations from politics. The appearance of this form of political economy is connected with the coming of so-called efficient management in power, a purely speculative group. They were brought by the old classic elite at the moment when the States began to lose the struggle to the Soviet system.
"The way out was found in shaking the US economy with the help of the "bubble dollar" - the piece of paper ensured with practically nothing. It produced the desired effect for a while. The Soviet economy was unable to set anything against it. Actually, the efficient management built a gigantic financial pyramid, the appearance of which programmed the current world crisis.
"Then, the "revolution of management" took place in a number of countries, including the USSR and then Russia, when such "managers" in the face of Gaidar, Chubais and the like made the Soviet Union collapse. They followed the American model, although that model was doomed from the start. Now those bubbles begin to burst.
"It is important to say here that the "management" doesn't want to leave power. That is why we can witness a huge split between the camp of neoliberalism in America and in the rest of the world.
"Many countries do not want to follow the "Washington consensus" anymore because of the crisis. This would mean the collapse of the American empire with its "bubble economy." The US is not going to let this happen. The only way out is to impose its will with the use of force. To put it in a nutshell, the US can arrange the Third World War outside the USA - the war that the States will be able to control."
