"Like most people who have been a victim of crime, I am amazed and flabbergasted that they have solved all the crimes so they can spend a day playing dressing-up games. "They do not know what their job or role is."

2) Charlie Brooker in Dirty Dancing The Remake - Charlie plays the role of Patrick Swayze but to make it more poignant Charlie has a club foot.

Charlies club foot was a result of an accident in his youth where a frenzied hedgehog attacked him whilst he was out camping with the scouts. This was because he was wearing his socks that been kept in the same bag as his bacon butties.

During the Grand Allegro Charlie does an assemblé en tournant and then Jordon lifts him into the air in triumph.

Bagpuss and his firm, led by a dark horse called Muffin The Mule a hitman for the Bagpuss gang, are hunting Charlie down.

Charlie has to fight his addiction to crack at the same time as he is struggling to survive the evil army of unemployed hand puppets on his trail.

The film culminates in a Tarantino style shoot out in cheap hotel in Brighton.

Charlie survives but his hand puppet protagonists dont.

In slow motion we see Charlie mowing down the army of evil hand puppets with an Uzi machine gun that he buys from a 14 year old school kid from Peckham.

These are the films we want to see, not more crap moves that are not about Charlie Brooker.

The Strategy of Little Green Footballs and Harrys Place

The Gary McKinnon Defence He Should Run

I have been thinking about the Gary McKinnon case and I have worked out the best defence he should run.

In all the testimony of Gary McKinnon that he has given in media interviews and police transcripts under caution he has mentioned three important things ;

1) That he downloaded from secret NASA files images of UFO's above the earth taken from secret US sy satellites

2) That he downloaded US navy pay files and fleet deployment listings that revealed the US has an off earth space fleet run by the US navy

3) That he saw other files that revealed the existence of UFO related technology being used by the US military.


Now this leaves prosecution case in a perilous position.

In order for McKinnon to be held guilty, then at the time of the criminal offences he committed he must not have been 'insane' or suffering from a mental abnormality that affected him to such an extent he was not aware of what he was doing.

But the testimony of McKinnon is so 'absurd' and so 'insane' ( as everyone knows that UFO's dont exist, that the US navy does not have an off earth space fleet and that the US military does not have UFO technology and energy systems ) that at the time of the offence he must have been insane.

In order for the prosecution to prove the case they must also prove his sanity at the time he did the offences. The testimony reveals that McKinnon was clearly insane.

In order for the prosecution to prove that McKinnon was not insane then they must admit that ;

1) The US has an off earth space fleet
2) That they have UFO technology and energy systems
3) That NASA does have photographs of UFOS's above the earth

Therefore the prosecution have to admit that the testimony of McKinnon was correct, in order to prove that he was not insane at the time he committed the offences.

In fact McKinnon must still be insane right now - as he still believes that he saw those things he downloaded from the US computer systems.

Therefore as he was insane at the time he committed the offences and he must still be insane now, as he still believes he saw those 'insane' things he said he saw, then he clearly should not be allowed to go to trial.

It appears that the judges who heard this appeal did not understand the nature of the linkage between McKinnons mental health and his capacity to stand trial nor the lawfulness of such a trial when he is clearly still 'insane'.

McKinnon must clearly be insane.

The fact he said those 'insane' things means he has to be insane - rational people who are responsible for their actions do not see such things as McKinnon said he saw on the US computer files.

The US must also, if it wants to win the case, prove that the material McKinnon saw was classified material.

If they cannot prove the material he saw was protected under defence laws, then they cannot assert the damage to 'national security' occured.

Therefore the US has to admit both that the files McKinnon said he saw were real, and that they are the most highly classified documents in the US military, or they cannot prove their case in relation to the charge that he damaged US national security.

What McKinnon must do is make this a crusade for UFO disclosure.

In order to convict him the US must in effect admit UFO's are real.

This case means McKinnon can take on the military industrial block in public - and force the US to expose the secret it has been keeping.

If he explains the moral aspect of his actions, to find out if the US is hiding advanced energy systems that could save the planet, and that he was motivated not to damage US national security interests, but to simply expose the truth about UFO's - then the jury will not convict him.

Hugo Chavez Takes On the Media Corporatocracy

Credit where credit is due, Chavez is bang on target here.

The power of the modern mass media to manipulate democracy and democratic elections is the ultimate 'soft tyranny'.

From the BBC, Fox News, The Guardian, The Telegraph etc etc - each of them are as bent as a nine bob note. They pump out propaganda for the interests of their masters, not for the benefit of the people and especially not the truth.

They can control a society without the people of that society even being aware they are enslaved.

Therefore the media must be forced to no longer interfere, manipulate or control the political process by using their propaganda to influence any society into voting for whom the media want elected.

The present system where the media propagandise the political parties that their corporate owners support is the antithesis of democracy - the power to manipulate individual minds and create false perceptions of a 'social consesus' as regards politics by the media must be dealt with, and Chavez's example is a good model to follow.

Her bill calls for the incarceration of anyone who, through their use of mass media, “destabilizes the State’s institutions.” Anyone who broadcasts anything that may cause “hatred and hostility” toward people based on, among other things, their “ideology or political affiliation” will end up in the slammer. "

Seeing as we live in a corrupt country where the entire media demonise the BNP in order to benefit their own puppet political parties, a law requiring the media not propagandise for a political party or against a political party is long overdue.

Venezuela: 'Freedom of expression must be limited'

CARACAS, Venezuela — Venezuela's top prosecutor insisted Thursday that freedom of expression in Venezuela "must be limited" and proposed legislation that would slap additional restrictions on the country's news media.

The new law would punish the owners of radio stations, television channels and newspapers that have attempted to "cause panic" and "disturb social peace," Attorney General Luisa Ortega said.

It also would punish media owners who "manipulate the news with the purpose of transmitting a false perception of the facts."

"Freedom of expression must be limited," Ortega said.

Ortega urged lawmakers to consider her suggestions as they debate a bill that would punish as-yet-undefined "media crimes." The National Assembly, which is controlled by allies of President Hugo Chavez, is expected to approve the measure in coming months.

Jose Miguel Vivanco, Americas director for Human Rights Watch, warned the proposed legislation "would be a terrible regression for freedom of expression."

"They are trying to increase the penalties for expressions that could be considered offensive for authorities," Vivanco said in an interview broadcast by RCN Radio in Colombia.

Carlos Lauria of the New York-based Committee to Protect Journalists called the bill "reminiscent of the dark days of Latin American dictatorships with its archaic provisions for so-called media crimes."

Chavez's administration is slowly tightening its grip over the news media, raising concerns among watchdog and human rights groups that accuse the government of trying to stifle dissent.

Venezuela's telecommunications commission notified 50 radio stations earlier this week that their broadcast licenses could be revoked because they failed to update their registrations. Commission chief Diosdado Cabello said a final determination on the licenses will be made following investigations. He said authorities might also seize broadcasting equipment.

Nearly 200 other broadcasters that did not meet a June deadline to register also will be investigated, but have not yet been formally notified, Cabello said

Broadcast regulators have also opened a series of investigations into Globovision, the only strongly anti-Chavez channel remaining on the open airwaves.

Station vice president Carlos Alberto Zuloaga accused Chavez on Thursday of "deciding to shut down Globovision."

"He's just looking for the way to diminish the political cost," Zuloaga said at a forum in Washington organized by the libertarian Cato Institute.

Chavez denies that he intends to silence critics, saying his government fully respects freedom of expression.
