The Sea Wolves

In their silent depths of sea they sleep,
Three sea wolves sunk by mines,
In the cold, clear blue waters,
Off the rocky coast of Cornwall,
Encrusted with corals that cloak the hull,
The tortured steel, is living still,
Each slow rusting carcass a reminder,
Of the price in blood paid by patriots,
Sent to hunt the ships of their enemies,
In the merciless waters that guard Albion.
